• Each episode will focus on practical dilemmas regarding invasive surgical procedures or conventional treatments, aiming to break down and brainstorm these crucial decisions.

1. Rabbit Therapeutic Problems

• The first webinar will cover rabbit’s 3 common therapeutical problems: otitis, liver problems and gastro-intestinal syndrome.
• The main theme is how to understand when there is still time to treat the problem with conservative treatment and when to go to the surgery.
• Ear drops, flushing of the external ear canal or myringotomy and plastic surgery?
• Should one take the liver biopsy and open the rabbit or still use some hepatoprotective drugs?
• Just GI tract stasis or obstruction?
• How to understand the condition?

2. Rabbit Oncological Problems

• During this webinar, we will discuss several popular oncological problems in rabbits: thymoma, adenocarcinoma metastasis from the uterus and mammary glands and last, but not least testicular tumours. What kind of conservative treatment options do we have and when should we prefer surgery instead?

• What to do with thyroid gland tumours?
