Detailed workshop program

Theoretical part:
1. The possibilities of piezosurgery and its potential advantages in exotic animal dentistry will be presented.

2. The use of piezotomes will be possible based on surgical accesses – including:
– mandibular osteotomy,
– resection of the zygomatic arch in a rabbit,
– techniques for apiecectomizing the mandibular and maxillary teeth in guinea pigs,
– extraction techniques in brachiodontic animals – e.g. ferrets.

Practical part:
1. Independent practice of access using piezosurgery systems under the supervision of instructors.

The workshop program will be quite loose and flexible, individually adapted to participants at every level of advancement.
