Program:

Theoretical Part

✓ Normal image and criteria for ultrasound assessment of the lymphatic system organs (lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, GALT)

✓ Pathological picture and the importance of ultrasound in the diagnosis of lymphatic system cancers

✓ Ultrasonography-guided fine- and core-needle biopsies

Practical Part

✓ Ultrasound examination of healthy and oncological patients

✓ Ultrasound-guided lymph node biopsy

✓ Ultrasound-guided biopsy of lymphatic system organs

✓ Lymph node mapping

✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians and 5th and 6th year veterinary students.

✓ Participation includes: participation in the theoretical and practical parts, unlimited access to hot and cold drinks, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, training materials in paper form.

✓ Practical part: ultrasound examination of scheduled patients in groups of three under the supervision of the attending physicians, ultrasound-guided biopsy of lymph nodes and lymphatic organs on unfixed material, and lymph node mapping. Ultrasound examinations will be performed using high-quality Vetiss equipment.

✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if a minimum of 10 participants is not reached.

✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of completion of the training and educational points.
