1. Round cell tumours:
– Cutaneous histiocytoma.
– Cutaneous plasmacytoma
– Mast cell tumours in dogs and cats
– Transmissible venereal tumour (TVT)

2. Lymph node cytology:
– Hyperplasia
– Inflammation
– Metastatic changes
– Lymphomas

3. Cytology of body cavity fluids:
– Transudate
– Modified transudate
– Aseptic/septic inflammatory exudate
– Neoplastic exudate
4. Practical session:
– Microscopic evaluation of cytological preparations of the aforementioned changes.

1. Hemato-oncology:
- blood changes in neoplastic diseases
- anemia/ thrombocytopenia/ WBC count changes - clinical approach in oncology
– blasts and atypical cells in the blood/ microscopic appearance of the most common leukemias

2. Bone marrow examination:
– indications and contraindications
– basics of bone marrow cytology
– microscopic appearance of the most common pathologies
– interpretation of results

3. Flow cytometry:
– Indications, interpretation of results/ additional tests in
hemato-oncology.
4. Practical session:
– Microscopic evaluation of cytological preparations.

✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians, 5th and 6th-year veterinary students, and veterinary technicians.
✓ Participation cost includes: attendance at the theoretical and practical training on Saturday and Sunday, unlimited access to cold and hot drinks during the training, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, and training materials in paper form.
✓ Practical part – independent work by each participant at the microscope under the instructor's supervision.
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if a minimum of 10 participants are not enrolled.
✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of completion and continuing education credits.
