We invite you to join the new ReproCases+ webinar series, dedicated to the analysis of real and challenging clinical cases in canine and feline reproduction.
These will not be standard lectures. ReproCases+ consists of interactive meetings based on cases from the speaker's daily clinical practice. Together, step by step, we will walk through each case – from the initial symptoms and clinical examination to the selection of appropriate diagnostics, and finally, the diagnosis and decisions regarding further management.
We will reflect on which pieces of information are crucial at specific stages, what questions we should be asking ourselves, which tests to choose, and how subsequent results influence our diagnosis and further decisions. There will be cases where the clinical picture can be misleading, and a seemingly obvious diagnosis requires a broader perspective.
It is worth emphasizing that reproductive problems are definitely not limited to "breeding" patients. Cycle disorders, uterine and ovarian diseases, abnormal genital discharge, or pregnancy-related problems can also occur in patients seen by a general practitioner.
In ReproCases+, we will not focus solely on what we see in the examination, but primarily on how to interpret the available information, differentiate the causes of the problem, and make the right clinical decisions.
Each case will be a collaborative diagnostic process during which we will answer the following questions together with the speaker:
What do we know? What else do we need to find out? What test should we perform next? How should we interpret the results obtained? And what do we do next?

Who is it for?
ReproCases+ is aimed not only at veterinarians specializing in reproduction and breeding patients but also at general practitioners and internists who want to more effectively recognize and manage reproductive cases encountered in their daily work.
The series will be led by Dr. Natalia Sowińska, an expert in canine and feline reproduction, ECAR resident, working daily at the University Veterinary Medicine Center in Poznań.
Throughout the series, Dr. Natalia Sowińska will work with participants to analyze challenging and non-obvious clinical cases of canine and feline reproductive emergencies, taken directly from her daily clinical practice.
We will walk through each case step by step – from patient presentation, symptoms, and clinical examination, through subsequent diagnostic stages, to the diagnosis and decisions regarding further management.
Each webinar will be interactive – participants will be able to ask questions, share their own insights, and analyze the available information together with the speaker. It is not just about learning the correct diagnosis, but about understanding the clinical reasoning process that leads to it.
What we will focus on during the webinar:
✓ Evaluation of vaginal discharge – when it might be a physiological symptom and when it should raise concern
✓ Step-by-step diagnostics – what tests are worth performing and how to prioritize them
✓ Reproductive system ultrasound – when it is crucial and when its result can be misleading
✓ Differentiating causes of discharge – how to recognize situations where the problem may not directly involve the reproductive system
✓ Clinical reasoning and therapeutic decisions – how to combine symptoms, clinical examination, and diagnostic results to decide whether the patient requires immediate intervention
