Program
THEORETICAL PART
• Blood spots – causes, diagnosis and treatment.
• Lens luxation – causes, diagnosis and treatment.
• Deep corneal ulcers – pharmacological and surgical treatment – what to choose?
• Pharmacotherapy for glaucoma in cats and dogs – principles of drug selection.
SURGICAL PART
• Corneal wounds – debridement and suturing of corneal wounds.
• Pediculated conjunctival flap transplantation onto the cornea.
• Intracapsular lens removal.
✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians.
✓ Completion of Level I and II training is not a necessary condition for participation in Level III training, however experience in performing basic ophthalmological procedures and knowledge of basic ophthalmological knowledge regarding anatomy, diagnostics and ophthalmological treatment are necessary.
✓ During the practical part, single-person workstations with ophthalmic magnifying glasses and specialist ophthalmic tools will be provided.
✓ The cost of participation includes: participation in the theoretical and practical part of the training, unlimited access to cold and hot beverages during the workshops, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, training materials in paper form.
✓ ADDITIONALLY: to be obtained during the training – individual internship with Dr. Oliwia Lis.
✓ Each participant will receive a training completion certificate and educational points.
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if a minimum of 8 participants is not gathered.
