Program
THEORETICAL PART
• Blood clots – causes, diagnosis and treatment.
• Lens luxation – causes, diagnosis and treatment.
• Deep corneal ulcers – pharmacological and surgical treatment – what to choose?
• Pharmacotherapy of glaucoma in cats and dogs – principles of drug selection.
• Deep corneal ulcers – pharmacological and surgical treatment – what to choose?

• Anesthesia for interventional ophthalmological procedures.
SURGICAL PART
• Corneal wounds – preparation and suturing of corneal wounds.
• Pedicled conjunctival flap transplant to the cornea.
• Intracapsular lens removal.
✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians.
✓ Completion of level I and II training is not a necessary condition to participate in level III training, however, experience in performing basic ophthalmological procedures and knowledge of basic ophthalmological knowledge regarding anatomy, diagnostics and ophthalmological treatment are necessary.
✓ The ophthalmological examination during the practical part will take place on cadavers and will be carried out in groups using specialized ophthalmological equipment and ophthalmic tools.
✓ During practical classes on ophthalmological surgery, each participant will have the opportunity to work independently.
✓ The cost of participation includes: participation in the training in the theoretical and practical part, unlimited access to hot and cold drinks during the workshops, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, evening dinner with a glass of wine on Saturday, training materials in paper form.
✓ ADDITIONALLY: available during the training - individual internship with Dr. Oliwia Lis.
✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of training completion and educational points.
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if at least 8 participants do not meet.
