Intensive training from scratch, for beginners in ophthalmology

During the workshops, an individual internship with Dr. Oliwia Lis is available to be earned!

Instructors:
✓ DVM Oliwia Lis (theoretical part + practical part)
✓ DVM Klaudia Moraczewska (practical part)

Training Program:

Saturday (9:00-18:00) - theoretical part

✓ Ophthalmic examination – detailed discussion of individual stages of eye examination
✓ Ocular discharge – differential diagnosis, treatment proposals.
✓ Cat with feline coryza through an ophthalmologist's eye
✓ Ophthalmic patient – diagnosis and treatment of "red eye"
✓ Ophthalmic patient – diagnosis and treatment of "white eye"
✓ Ulcerative keratitis – diagnostic and treatment schemas.
✓ KCS – dry keratoconjunctivitis in cats and dogs.

Sunday (8:00-16:00) - practical part

✓ Familiarization with specialized ophthalmic equipment
✓ Ophthalmic examination of scheduled patients – healthy and sick.

✓ The training is intended for veterinary doctors and veterinary students in their 5th and 6th years
✓ Intensive training from scratch, for beginners in ophthalmology
✓ Number of participants: max. 12 people
✓ The participation fee includes: participation in the theoretical and practical parts of the training, unlimited access to cold and hot beverages during the training, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, and printed training materials
✓ The practical part, involving dog and cat patients, will be conducted using specialized equipment from Głowacki-vet and Eickemeyer in groups of 3 participants
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshops if fewer than 10 participants register
✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of completion and educational credits
✓ ADDITIONAL: an individual internship with Dr. Oliwia Lis is available to be earned during the workshops!
