Intensive training from scratch for beginners in ophthalmology

Presenters:
✓ Veterinarian Oliwia Lis (theoretical part + practical part)
✓ Klaudia Moraczewska, veterinarian (practical part)

Training program:

Saturday (9:00-18:00) - theoretical part

✓ Eye examination – detailed discussion of the individual stages of the eye examination
✓ Eye discharge – differential diagnosis, treatment suggestions.
✓ A cat with a runny nose, seen by an ophthalmologist
✓ Ophthalmological patient – diagnosis and treatment of “red eye”
✓ Ophthalmological patient – diagnosis and treatment of “white eye”
✓ Ulcerative keratitis - diagnosis and treatment schemes.
✓ KCS – keratoconjunctivitis sicca in cats and dogs.

Sunday (8:00-16:00) - practical part

✓ Familiarization with specialized ophthalmological equipment
✓ Ophthalmological examination of scheduled patients – healthy and sick.

✓ The training is intended for veterinarians and 5th and 6th year veterinary students
✓ Intensive training from scratch, for beginners in ophthalmology
✓ Number of participants: max. 12 people
✓ The participation fee includes: participation in the theoretical and practical parts of the training, unlimited access to hot and cold drinks during the training, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, training materials in paper form
✓ The practical part with the participation of canine and feline patients will be carried out using specialized equipment from Finemed and Heine in groups of 3
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if the minimum number of 10 participants is not met
✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of completion of the training and educational points
✓ ADDITIONALLY: during the workshops you can gain an individual internship with Dr. Oliwia Lis!
