✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and 5th and 6th-year veterinary students.
✓ The participation fee includes: participation in the theoretical and practical parts of the training on Saturday and Sunday, unlimited access to cold and hot beverages during the training, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, and printed training materials.
✓ Practical part:
- learning how to prepare proper blood smears and staining
- microscopic evaluation of hematological slides from healthy and sick patients
- interactive part: joint analysis of clinical cases by instructors and participants
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshops if fewer than 10 participants register.
✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of completion and educational credits.

Blood smears – how to manage them technically and what can we see under the microscope?
● slides/stains/techniques
● microscopic evaluation – basic and advanced leukogram assessment
of cellular changes
● practical smear exercises
Platelets/leukocytes and erythrocytes clinically, i.e., all the most common problems encountered in clinical practice
● anemias and polycythemias
- classifications and causes
- diagnostic algorithms
- specifics - characteristic changes and their role in diagnosis
- clinical significance - impact on therapeutic decisions
● thrombocytopenia and thrombocytosis
- classification of platelet changes
- diagnostic algorithms

- changes in granulocytic/lymphocytic/monocytic series
