Part I – theoretical – ONLINE

Program
Theoretical part (ONLINE):
Block I
- Endoscopy – general concepts
- Flexible endoscopy – structure, types, additional instruments, manual operation, organization of the endoscopy room, cleaning
- Rigid endoscopy - structure, types, additional instruments, manual operation, cleaning

Block II
- Rhinoscopy – overview, anatomy of the nasal cavity, anterior rhinoscopy, retrograde rhinoscopy, special procedures (including nasal mycosis, removal of foreign bodies, polyps, tumors)
- Bronchoscopy – overview, anatomy of the respiratory tract, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi
- Special procedures (including laryngeal paralysis, tonsillectomy, tracheal and bronchial collapse, BAL, swabs)

Practical part:
- Learning to use endoscopic equipment
- Demonstration test performed by the instructor
- Endoscopic examination on unfixed material in groups of 2
- Collection of material for testing, removal of foreign bodies
- Basic surgical procedures performed during endoscopy

✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians, veterinary technicians and 5th and 6th year veterinary students.
✓ Access to Part I – ONLINE will be granted 14 days before the on-site Part II, i.e. on August 22, 2025
✓ Participation includes: participation in the theoretical part (ONLINE) and the practical part in-person with unlimited access to cold and hot drinks, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, materials in PDF format*.
✓ Practical part – will be conducted in groups of 3 people with high-class Storz endoscopes and the use of unfixed preparations.
✓ We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if a minimum of 10 participants is not reached.
✓ Each participant will receive a certificate of completion of the training and educational points.
