The second part of the lecture will be dedicated to basic medical procedures, such as administering medications, inserting an IV catheter, and performing fluid therapy.

Rat Diseases - Advanced Part
1. Dyspnea from A to Z
A rat with dyspnea is not just a patient with pneumonia. In this lecture, participants will learn what other conditions can lead to respiratory problems in rats, how to effectively differentiate their causes, and what diagnostic and therapeutic methods to apply to best care for their patient.
2. Pituitary Tumors – Differential Diagnosis
Pituitary tumors in rats are a well-known and still significant clinical problem. In this lecture, we will focus on differential diagnosis, discussing diseases that may present similar symptoms. We will also present available diagnostic methods and their usefulness in practice.
3. Rare Endocrine Diseases in Rats
Did you know that insulinoma in rats occurs more often than literature data suggest? Unfortunately, it is easy to miss, as symptoms can be very subtle. If you have not yet encountered this problem or have faced therapeutic difficulties, this lecture will provide you with valuable information. We will also cover other rare endocrine diseases, such as diabetes and hypothyroidism.
4. Frustrating Dermatological Cases
What to do when a dermatological patient does not respond to standard treatment? What diseases and therapeutic options should be considered when standard methods fail? You will learn this from the lecture on frustrating dermatological cases. Rarer and more complicated cases of skin diseases in rats and therapeutic options that can bring relief to patients will be discussed.
