Online training program (total duration approx. 5 hours)
• Environmental conditions – size and material from which the cage is made, type of bedding.
• Rat varieties and their characteristic features (eyes, ears, baldness, color varieties).
• Rat diet – rat nutrition.
• The herd in the context of its impact on physical and mental health.
• Important aspects of anatomy and physiology.
• Prevention from the medical perspective.
• Clinical trial.
• Additional tests – X-ray, ultrasound, blood and urine tests, microbiological tests.
• The most common diseases of rats – respiratory tract inflammation, ear infections, pituitary tumors, mammary gland tumors.
✓ The training is intended for veterinarians and 5th and 6th year veterinary students.
✓ The course consists of 4 lectures and lasts approximately 5 hours in total.
✓ The participant decides at what pace they will process the material, which facilitates better assimilation of large amounts of material.
