Workshop Program
Planned duration of workshops: 09:00 – 18:00

Theoretical part
✅ Bone marrow aspiration technique and material preparation for evaluation
✅ Indications and contraindications for bone marrow examination plus complications after bone marrow biopsy
✅ How to understand a myelogram? Basics of physiological and pathological cytology – what should the clinician performing the bone marrow aspiration pay attention to?
✅ Terminology in hemato-oncology. Most common diseases – based on clinical cases of hematological neoplasms
✅ Additional tests in hemato-oncology – when and why? (immunocytochemistry/immunohistochemistry/PARR/cytometry)

Practical part
✅ Bone marrow biopsy on unfixed material
✅ Opportunity to perform a myelogram – for those interested

✓ Workshops are intended for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and 5th and 6th-year veterinary students.
✓ Participation includes: attendance at the theoretical and practical parts with unlimited access to cold and hot drinks, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, and colorful training materials in paper form (binder).
