Part I - theoretical - ONLINE

• Pharmacology of drugs used in anesthesiology
• Clinical examination before anesthesia
• Anesthetic risk assessment - ASA classes, pre-anesthetic diagnostics, patient qualification for the procedure
• Premedication
• Induction of anesthesia
  Intubation
• Maintenance of general anesthesia:
  - infusion
  - inhalant
• Monitoring during the procedure
• Fluid therapy
• Post-operative care
  

Part II - practical

• Medication and Fluid Calculations
• Anesthesia regimens - group exercises
• Anesthesia equipment - inhalation anesthesia devices, infusion pumps, patient monitors, Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure measurement
  

✓ The workshops are intended for veterinarians, veterinary technicians and 5th and 6th year veterinary students.
✓ Participation includes: participation in the theoretical part (ONLINE) and the practical part in person with unlimited access to hot and cold drinks, refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch, colorful training materials in paper form (binder).
✓ Practical part – will cover:
– Medication and fluid calculations (IV, SC, IM, CRI)
– Creating anaesthesia regimens (group exercises)
– Learning the principles of operation of anaesthetic equipment – ​​inhalation anaesthesia devices, infusion pumps, patient monitors, Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure measurement
